3D Art (Still)
Alex Alvarez from Gnomon School of Visual Effects (Hollywood, USA) chaired and hosted the 3D Art (Still) category.

The award for Best 3D Art (Still) is for an image of outstanding artistic nature using a 3D application. Entries were judged based on the criteria of Originality & Creativity, Design & Aesthetics and Technical Excellence.

Steven Stahlberg tried to look calm about receiving the award in his video acceptance all the way from Malaysia - though everyone knew he was ecstatic!	Darrin Krumweide (Gnomon), Tito "Lildragon" Belgrave (CGTalk) and Alex Alvarez (Gnomon).
