FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Final
Categories Announced
for the 2nd
Annual International 3D Awards
The International 3D Awards Committee
has announced the final categories that will be presented
at the Awards ceremony on the evening of 5th May at the
3D Festival, Copenhagen . Several categories will be
re-opened and extended until July 2004, with more awards
to be presented in August during SIGGRAPH 2004 in Los
Angeles . More details about these categories will be
released on the 3D Awards website in May 2004.
"Although we had over 900 entries
for consideration in this year's 3D Awards, the bulk
of these were entered for only a few of the more popular
categories," explains Leonard Teo , Chairman of the
International 3D Awards Committee. "As some of the
categories were truly lacking in numbers, the Committee
felt a necessity to extend the awards and present them
at a later date."
