FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Architectural
Categories Re-opened For Submissions
for
the International
3D Awards 2004
The International
3D Awards committee has re-opened submissions to
the two architectural categories in the lead-up to
SIGGRAPH 2004. As these two categories were not awarded
at the 3D Awards 2004 ceremony in Copenhagen, the
2004 Architectural categories will be awarded at
the CGarchitect.com event
to be held at SIGGRAPH 2004 (August 8-12).
The International 3D Awards honors the
achievements of companies and individuals in the 3D
computer graphic arts industry. The International 3D
Awards covers the entire spectrum of the 3D industry
from animation and digital effects to gaming, architectural
visualization and independent productions.
The 3D Awards Architectural
Visualization Awards ceremony will be held at the CGarchitect.com industry
professionals' party at SIGGRAPH,
the computer graphics industry's premier exhibition,
conference and networking event, held from 8-12
August 2004 in Los Angeles.
Submissions already entered to the 2004
3D Awards remain with the 3D Awards Committee to be
re-judged. All architectural visualizations will
be considered by a jury led by Jeff Mottle, founder
and CEO of CGarchitect.com,
a recognized authority on architectural design, modeling
and visualization.
Call for Entries
- Architectural Visualizations
The 3D Awards is now calling for entries to supplement
existing submissions to the two Architectural visualization

for either of the following categories:
- Architectural
Visualization (animation) for outstanding
use of 3D in an animated architectural visualization
project.
- Architectural
Visualization (still) for outstanding
use of 3D in a still architectural visualization
project.
Further information is available at the 3D Awards website: http://www.3dawards.org/2004/architecture
